Jabe Pond and Little Jabe Pond Trails

Part of the Lake George Wild Forest
Length: 2 miles round trip
Difficulty: Easy
Elevation Gain: 360′ (full hike)
Trailhead: For the full hike, start at the parking area at Battle Hill Road (the exension of Split Rock Road). You can also drive in with a 4-wheel drive vehicle to the second parking area at the intersection of the Jabe Pond Trail and Little Jabe Pond Trail, but this eliminates most of the hike.

Amenities: There are six primitive campsites on Jabe Pond.
Note: This trailhead also connects to two lesser-known, undocumented, and possibly unmarked trails to the east: Jabe Pond Loop (right) and North Jabe Pond Trail (left). These trails in turn connect to other undocumented and possibly unmarked trails:
