Pharaoh Lake and Mountain Trail

Part of the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness
Length: 12.5 mile Round Trip (Mountain) A little over 8 miles Round Trip to reach the lake.
Difficulty: Difficult (Please note that the Pharaoh Lake Trail which is part of this trail is Easy. The main elevation climb begins after the lake.)
Trailhead: Pharaoh Road, Horicon
Elevation Gain: 2,256 feet (the elevation gain to Pharaoh Lake is only a little over 100 feet.)
Type: Out-and-back
Activities: Hiking, Nordic Skiing
Amenities: There are 6 lean-to’s and 14 primitive campsites around Pharaoh Lake, two primitive campsites along the trail, and one primitive campsite on top of Pharaoh Mountain.
