Part of the Lake George Wild Forest
Length: 4 miles one-way
Difficulty: Easy
Trailhead: From Padanarum Road Parking Area (south) the trail passes Long Pond at 1.1 miles and reaches Island Pond at 1.6 miles. From the Lily Pond Road Parking Area (north) the trail goes 0.5 miles to the first intersection. Take the trail to the west. At 0.2 mile, the trail splits again – take the trail to the south. It is 1.2 miles to Island Pond.

Amenities: There is a primitive campsite on Lily Pond and another on Round Pond.
