Part of the Lake George Wild Forest
Length: 3.7 or 4.2 miles (north or east routes)
Difficulty: Easy
Trailhead: Lily Pond Road, Horicon – Directions: The trail extends 0.5 miles from the parking area to the first intersection. Take the trail to the east. At 0.1 mile, the trail splits again – both trails go to Buttermilk Pond. The north trail is 3.1 miles to Buttermilk Pond. The east trail is 3.6 miles to Buttermilk Pond and passes Duck and Round Ponds.

Amenities: There is a primitive campsite on Lily Pond and another on Round Pond.
